This course is an introduction to the medical laboratory industry and the skills and training necessary to succeed in this exciting field. Meets a requirement for both the CNM Phlebotomy certificate and Medical Laboratory Technician associate degree program.
- Work side-by-side with laboratory professional’s during hands-on lab demonstrations and tour the TriCore Reference Laboratory.
- Overview of technical departments and specialties and non-technical aspects of working and gaining employment in healthcare.
- Job-shadow with laboratory technicians and scientists at local facilities.
- No textbooks required.
